Starters by Lissa Price

Starters is about this girl named Callie that lives with Micheal and Callie's lil brother Tyler. There was this war when the three were little and now they don't have parents. The live in this abandoned building and they are trying to survive and have a better life. Then Callie reads this ad about a job and the job is letting them transfer another person's soul in her body and she gets paid after three rents. If I remember right, it was 500 dollars or something. But on the third rent something goes wrong. An assassin ender called Helena rents her body. After one day and 30 min the transmissions stop and Callie turns to her old self, but she still hears the voices and she then goes on missions hoping to get the voices out of her head. ~Julius R. 1. This sounds like an extreemely scary book but I would like to read this book to find out how the kids feel about not having parents. I can't imagine not having a parent because they practically do everything for me. Living on my own would definitely be hard and I would be in trouble considering my experience in being independent.

  5. This sounds like a suspenseful book, with a hint of mystery and horror. I would love to read it. I bet she starts going on an adventure that takes her into scary scenes that keeps the reader thirsty for more. This is definitely a book that I would consider for summer reading.

  6. I've never heard of this book, but just by the way you've written this it makes me want to find out what happens to Callie. I love books with tons of suspense, and this one sounds like it fits that genre perfectly!

  9. This sounds like a very interesting book, and it reminds me of the book the host, by Stephanie Meyers. It would be horrible to have voices like those in your head all the time. It sounds like a very suspenseful and creepy book, but it sounds worth giving a try.

  10. This sounds like a very interesting book, and it reminds me of the book, The Host, by Stephanie Meyers. It sounds like a very suspenseful and creepy book, to have to hear those strange voices in your head all the time. I can only imagine how hard it would be, especially living alone with her siblings and no parents to protect her. This book could be a good read, so I will probably give it a try over the summer.
