I like how most of John Green's novels have this input of an emotional roller coaster. It's very interesting to see how your feelings alter throughout the coarse of the book. Check out Looking for Alaska. It's another one of his great pieces and one of my personal favorites!

The plot of this story sounds very interesting. I like how you noted that the emotions are very different throughout a book, as that is what makes a great book. Although there is the cliche love element, I also am pleased with the idea that a real-life struggle, like cancer and other diseases, are taken to fiction. I believe Wendy Mass did that with "A Mango-Shaped Space". Anyway, I will try to read it someday.

Even though the whole idea of alove elment is cliched, I feel like John Green made it so it was somewhat predictable. However, since the characters are so unique, this love really stands out from other books with mushy, repetitive love plotlines.

This book sounds like a book I would totally enjoy! It seems very sad and romantic. The quotes are also great and are very true.
